With the Presidential election within a few weeks, I believe it is necessary for us to allow our consciences to grasp hold of the teachings of the Church with regard to issues of public interest, especially those which will have an immediate and critical impact upon our nation.
Over the next few weeks, leading up to Novemeber 4, I will be highlighting excerpts from our Nation's Bishops' Letter: Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship.
I certainly hope you will bless your life by reading these texts over the next few weeks, and then enter the ballot for President of the United States, and others, with a more enlightened and faith-filled view toward the future of our Country. God Bless America.

I remember when my mother became a citizen. She's tried to be faithful and she didn't have the benefit of reading this marvelous, life-blessing letter from the bishops who have brought us so many wonderful things.
