The Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, CA.

This very famous protestant cathedral was completed by the Rev. Robert Schuller in 1981 and has been used by his ministry since that date. Unfortunately, not all has gone well within the ministry and it entered bankruptcy a few years ago.
Recently, the Catholic Diocese of Orange, CA was in need of a Cathedral for its growing population and sought to purchase this famous church. The purchase was completed a some months ago, with the blessing of Rev. Schuller (he is pleased that the building will continue to be used for worship and not as a museum or theater).

Naturally, extensive work is needed to prepare for proper worship for the Catholic community.

These Catholics are truly blessed to have this place as their new Cathedral.
